The small playgrounds dotted around urban spaces in Japan are a combination of greenery and concrete. They vary from playful to dreary in appearance. I rarely find kids playing, but more often see adults taking a moment to themselves. I wonder, without the playgrounds, where would they go?
日本の都市空間には小さな遊び場が点在しています。それらは緑とコンクリートによって組み合わされています。遊び心が満ちているものから退屈なものまで様々あります。私はそこにこどもたちが遊んでいるところはあまり見かけませんが、大人たちが時間をつぶしているのをよくみ見かけます。もし、遊び場がなかったら、彼らはどこへいくのでしょう。

A small light box is installed in the studio window at Hatsune Wing and can be viewed from outside, next to the Step Plaza.
この小さなライトボックスは、かいだん広場の横にあるスタジオ、ハツネウィングのウィンドウに設置されます。
