マレーシア・サバを拠点とする音楽と版画のアーティストグループ、パンクロック・スゥラップが、黄金町バザール2019のプレイベントとして、特別にワークショップを開催します！

こどもたち、地域のみなさん、そして黄金町のアーティストが一堂に集まり、自分たちの住むまちに飾る作品を版画でつくります！
完成した作品は、黄金町バザール2019 特別プログラムとして、会期中展示されます。
マレーシアのアートや音楽、みんなで作品をつくることに興味のあるみなさん、ぜひご参加ください！！

＜アーティスト・プロフィール＞
パンクロック・スゥラップ
2010年、マレーシア、サバ州キナバル山麓ラナウで結成。リゾ・レオン（1984年-−）を中心に、アーティスト、音楽家、社会活動家など、多様なメンバーによって構成されるコレクティブ（活動集団）。名称は、音楽ジャンルのパンク・ロックに、サバ先住民族のドゥスン語で「農作業の休憩小屋」を意味する「スゥラップ」を組み合わせたもの。2012年以降は、インドネシアの〈マージナル〉や〈タリン・パディ〉の影響を受け、資本主義や環境破壊などの政治問題やサバの伝統文化をテーマにした木版画作品をメンバーたちで共同制作している。

Children, Koganecho AIR Artist, local people will gather and create artworks that will be exhibited in town with the collective practice.

Pangrok Sulap
Formed in 2010 at the foot of Mt. Kinabalu, Malaysia, and centered on Rizo Leong, the collective features artists, musicians, and social activists. Its name is a combination of the music genre punk rock rendered in Dusun, a language indigenous to Sabah, with sulap meaning "farmer's rest house." From 2012, influenced by Marjinal and Taring Padi, it has collectively produced work inspired by traditional cultural themes that address political issues, consumerism and environmental destruction.
