吉田ゆう
Yu Yoshida

1986年神奈川県生まれ。現在、黄金町AIR 2019参加中。2010年女子美術大学大学院美術研究科修了。主にサメをモチーフとし、日常風景にフィクションである事件を起こす。その場面を写真や彫刻、インスタレーションなどを用い制作。サメという普遍的な恐怖の象徴をアイコンとし、普遍的な風景を人と環境との関係や構造を通じて見つめ直す。

Born in Kanagawa 1986. Currently an artist in residence at Koganecho. Graduated from the Joshibi University of Art and Design in 2010. Using sharks as a motif, she creates fictional incidents in everyday spaces using photography, sculpture and installation. Sharks are a universal symbol of fear, and she uses them to reinvent landscapes and explore the relationships between people and their environment.
