2010年、マレーシア、サバ州キナバル山麓ラナウで結成。リゾ・レオン（1984年-−）を中心に、アーティスト、音楽家、社会活動家など、多様なメンバーによって構成されるコレクティブ（活動集団）。名称は、音楽ジャンルのパンク・ロックに、サバ先住民族のドゥスン語で「農作業の休憩小屋」を意味する「スゥラップ」を組み合わせたもの。2012年以降は、インドネシアの〈マージナル〉や〈タリン・パディ〉の影響を受け、資本主義や環境破壊などの政治問題やサバの伝統文化をテーマにした木版画作品をメンバーたちで共同制作している。

Formed in 2010 at the foot of Mt. Kinabalu, Malaysia. Headed by Rizo Leong (b. 1984), the collective features artists, musicians, and social activists. The name is a combination of "punk rock" in Dusun, a language indigenous to Sabah, and Sulap meaning "farmer's rest house." Inspired by Marjinal and Taring Padi from Indonesia, they have collectively produced woodcuts and prints using traditional Sabah methods to address political issues such as capitalism and environmental destruction since 2012.
