この度《PINK NOISE POP UP》は、黄金町バザール2018-フライング・スーパーマーケットのイベントとしてアコースティック・トリオCANTO! を招いてライブ「Pink Noise Jazz Night」を開催します。
インスタント・コーヒーの拠点でもあるカナダ・北アメリカでは珍しくなってしまったJazzと様々な音楽を融合させた先鋭的な即興演奏。滞在中に知り合った日本のミュージシャンを招き、文化の出会いと変容し続ける音楽のダイナミクスをお楽しみいただけます。
Instant Coffee is often engaged in building platforms for things to happen, activating the installation with various community engaged activities including slide shows and concerts. They met CANTO! during their residency period and noticed the improvisational gig that mixes Jazz and other various genres is more active than North America where is the origin of Jazz and the improvisation.


CANTO!（カント）について：中西文彦（gut guitar）、大澤GYUGYU逸人（kontrabass）、荒井康太（drums） の三人によるインストゥルメンタルバンド。 ブラジル、タンゴ、フラメンコ、アフロ、ロック、ジャズ、ミニマリスム、モンゴル、青ヶ島の伝統音楽など様々な要素が取り入れられ、掛け合わされた楽曲を即興的アプローチで表現している。
CANTO! is an acoustic trio, led by a musician who specializes in music coming from Brazil, CANTO! calls their sound PUNKANOVA, a hybrid of Punk and Bossanova.
