1987年東京都⽣まれ。東京都と神奈川県を拠点に活動。2009年武蔵野美術⼤学を卒業、2018年東京藝術⼤学⼤学院修了。その間2015年にウィーン美術アカデミーに留学し、ポリティカルな表現を多く⽬撃する。他者は可能性としての⾃分⾃⾝であるという考えのもと、映像作品やインスタレーションなど、メディアに限らず表現する。2017年より⻩⾦町AIRプログラム⻑期レジデンスに参加している。
Born in Tokyo, 1987. Based in Tokyo and Kanagawa. Graduated from Musashino Art University, and completed MA at Tokyo University of the Arts. During studying at Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, Hitomi encountered many political expressions. By using conceptual projects as a medium, she involves participation of others in order to create performance pieces, which she records and presents as video installation. She has joined in a long-term program of Koganecho AIR since 2017.
